Liverpool have qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League as winners of Group D after Ryan Babel, Albert Riera and David Ngog found the net in a 3-1 victory over PSV Eindhoven.

74 PSV hit the outside of the post after the Reds fail to clear a corner. Marcellis was up for it but the angle is too tight.

49 Great chance for Keane who tricks his way into the box. He goes for goal but the ball is knocked clear. The referee points for a goal-kick when it was clearly a Liverpool corner.

Goal45+1 GOAL LIVERPOOL: Ryan Babel, back on home soil, gets up well to divert Lucas' free-kick beyond Isaksson to level things. The Dutchman had disappeared for 20 minutes but he's back with a bang to level things here.
44 First opening of the game for Liverpool as Dossena finds the head of N'Gog but the teenager can only nod straight at Isaksson.
43 Appeals for handball against Carragher as Lazovic looks to play the ball into the danger area, The referee waves play on.
42 News from Stamford Bridge and Chelsea are a goal up against Cluj, Kalou the scorer. That would be enought to put all four English clubs into the last 16.
Yellow Card41 Arbeloa goes into the book along with Simons. Not really sure why the PSV skipper was cautioned there!
40 Goalscorer Lazovic is rolling around in agony after a challenge from Arbeloa. PSV are up in arms and surrounding Russian referee Nikolai Ivanov.

Goal35 GOAL PSV: Mistake by Mascherano as Dzsudzsak sends in the corner. The Argentine tries to head the ball away but it ricochets off Amrabat and drops to the feet of Danko LAzovbic who lashes the ball home. There are suggestions of a handball but it's an absolute bonus for the Dutch side.
34 Culina gets space down the Liverpool left and fires in a cross which is blocked by Dossena a the expense of a corner.
32 Mendez has the chance to create some PSV pressure but his free-kick is over-hit and sails into the arms of Cavalieri.
31 Lucas picks out Riera in a dangerous position with the free-kick but the Spanish winger fails to get the ball across. That was well worked by the visitors.

15 First real chance of the game goes to PSV. Timmy Simons lets fly from 20 yards out and Cavalieri beats the ball away. That was a powerful effort there from Simons.
13 Keane has had plenty of the ball in the opening few minutes. He, Babel and Riera could make it a tough night for the home defence.
10 PSV, who can only make a Uefa Cup spot at best, look a little tentative on their home turf. They must be there for the taking tonight.
9 Another powerful run by Babel who finds Keane in the box. The Irishman goes down under a soft challenge by Mendez but there are only tentative appeals for a penalty.
8 Agger brings the ball out of defence and feeds Keane. He links up with Riera and threatens to burst into the Dutch box but is foiled by Brechet.
6 Good run by Riera who cuts inside and across the PSV box but his flick through fails to find Keane.
5 Nordin Amrabat makes a run at the heart of the Liverpool defence and he's hauled back by Javier Mascherano at the expense of a free-kick. The ball is pumped into the Reds' box but is easily dealt with by Cavalieri.

2 PSV are playing the ball about nicely at the start but you do feel Liverpool should have the quality to unlock them at some stage.
1 The match is underway and Keane is straight into the action and wins a free-kick 25 yards out. Lucas takes it short and the cross is whipped in but Albert Riera heads over.
